The History programme at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) is a full-time, on-campus programme that offers a Master’s degree for students progressing through the doctoral route, providing a rigorous academic foundation in historical research and analysis.
Historical Theology
In our fast-paced, ever expanding global community, we have a great need to understand ourselves and our era in the light of our history. In the Historical Theology program from Westminster Theological Seminary in California, students are equipped with a historically-minded approach to evaluate current events of today in relation to all that has come before.
Religious Studies
The Religious Studies program from University of the West is a two-year, full-time degree program that allows students to gain a critical appreciation and understanding of different facets of religion. More specifically, it seeks to extend a student’s background in Buddhism and Buddhist Studies, with an emphasis on practical applications in the contemporary world.
History, War and Society Studies
The History, War and Society Studies Master is offered by San Diego State University. SDSU historians carry out research and teach on a wide variety of topics, from Amazon warrior women in Ancient Greece to food and famine in modern China; from witchcraft in ancient Rome to the history of the Vietnam War; and from Aztec medicine to city life in modern Argentina.
