Overview

The Divinity program from Andrews University is a 78-credit professional program recommended as the graduate training for Adventist ministry by the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists and the North American Division. It is a two-year professional program (including summers) for full-time students. Additional semesters may be required for students lacking prerequisites.

General requirements

A bachelors degree (or non-U.S. equivalent) from an accredited institution and a minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.50 (Applicants with lower GPA may be admitted upon consideration of the composite profile).

Three Recommendations: church board, religion department (or a major professor) and a general recommendation.

Statement of Purpose reflecting your family and religious development, sense of calling to ministry, experience in church work, and future goals in relation with the MDiv program.

Spouse’s Statement: If applicant is married.

TOEFL or IELTS: Students whose language of education is not English must submit English proficiency tests scores.
