Overview
This six-semester (including summers) program, Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology, is designed to provide students with an in-depth academic, clinical and research based experienced that will prepare them for a career as a certified speech-language pathologist.
The Master’s degree program at Andrews University has achieved candidacy status from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association’s (ASHA) Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology.

General requirements
- A bachelors degree (or non-U.S. equivalent) from an accredited institution and a minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.7. For students in the transitional track, a minimum GPA of 3.5 is required in all prerequisite courses (with no grade below a B).
- Submit an application at the Centralized Application Service (CSDCAS).
- Three Recommendations from professionals such as advisors, major professors and employers.
- Resume describing employment, research or special projects.
- Statement of Purpose reflecting your philosophical perspective, personal, professional and academic goals, and reasons for seeking the graduate program.
- TOEFL, IELTS or PTE (academic): Students whose language of education is not English must submit English proficiency test scores.
