General requirements
- The online application process will guide you through which materials are required by the University to finalize your application.
- The department also requires GRE General Test scores, a Letter of Intent, and three letters of recommendation.
- The Letter of Intent should briefly describe your experience and objectives in undertaking graduate study in Nanoscience & Microsystems Engineering and be submitted through the online system.
- (One) IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge CPE or CAE for International Applications are required and should be submitted to the University directly by ETS (Institution code = 4845; no department code is needed). During the online process, please report your scores unofficially for review. The minimum IELTS admission standard for UNM is 6.5
- Recommendation letters should be submitted directly by your recommenders through the online system. Specific directions are included within the application system.
