A 2-year MA at DTS offers more Bible and theology than a 3-year MDiv at most seminaries, including all 66 books (even Nahum) and an entire course on the Trinity.

The 2-year MA programs at DTS have a common core of Bible and theology coursework along with specific training in cross-cultural communication that you can apply wherever God has called you to serve.

Goals for MA in Cross-cultural Ministry

In addition to the goals common to all professional degree programs at the seminary, students in the Cross-cultural Ministry program of Dallas Theological Seminary will be able to:

verbalize principles of effective intercultural ministry;

demonstrate familiarity with essential principles of anthropology, ethnology, sociology, and psychology in relation to missions;

evidence a deep commitment to world evangelism;

communicate the Bible effectively in an intercultural context;

produce an accurate profile of the chosen country or area of the world; and

design an effective strategy for an intercultural ministry.
