Overview

The Elementary Education programme at The University of New Mexico offers a transformative curriculum designed to advance the professional practice of licensed educators. Students can choose between two distinct pathways to suit their professional needs: the Reflective Practice (MARP) cohort or the Accelerated Online Program. The MARP pathway uses the K–12 classroom as a laboratory for inquiry, while the online option allows for flexible, remote learning. Both routes require the completion of 30 credit hours to graduate.

The curriculum is divided into 15 hours of core graduate courses and 15 hours dedicated to a chosen emphasis area.
