Overview
The Social Work programme at Texas A&M University - Kingsville provides students with a comprehensive education in clinical and activist social work. This degree is designed to equip graduates with the necessary skills to function effectively across a wide range of professional social service environments.
Students can choose between two distinct pathways based on their academic background. Those without a prior degree in the field complete a foundation year before moving into specialised content, while those with an accredited undergraduate degree can enter the advanced standing track to focus immediately on the concentration year.
A significant component of the curriculum is the requirement for 900 clock hours of supervised field education.
